Product Review: Real Techniques Brushes

I’m back and I’ve got a product review for everyone! Today, I would like to talk (or rather blog) about the Real Techniques Brushes. I’m not sure if any of you know this about me, but I love the Pixiwoo sisters on YouTube!! I seriously adore and idolize them! So when I heard that Sam Chapman was coming out with a range of brushes, I knew that I needed to get my hands on them! I heard such great reviews from beauty bloggers and other YouTube beauty gurus about these brushes!

I know that these brushes were launched quite some time ago. But, being in the Philippines, I was not able to get these brushes until recently when I learned about Kalm Cosmetics. Kalm Cosmetics is the authorized retailer of  Real Techniques, Ecotools, Skindinavia and Makeup Geek in the Philippines. I had a smooth transaction with them and their prices are reasonable as well!

I now have the Expert Face Brush and the Core Collection by Real Techniques. These are mostly face brushes for foundation, blush and powder application.

Expert Face Brush

“Ultra Firm and broad for application and blending of cream or liquid foundation”

To say that I like this brush is an understatement! I love this brush! I don’t think I will use another brush for foundation application other than this! I love how dense this brush is because it enables a very smooth application of cream or liquid foundation. I also love the handle of this brush because it gives you a nice grip and better control of your hand when applying foundation. I feel like whenever I apply my foundation using the Expert Face Brush, the application looks so smooth and natural! I am even thinking of buying a couple more of these for backup! That’s how much I love this brush!

Core Collection

The Core Collection includes 4 brushes: Countour Brush, Buffing Brush, Pointed Foundation Brush and the Detailer Brush. It also includes a nice panoramic case which is perfect for travelling or for those on-the-go women who needs to have their makeup brushes with them at all times!

The contour brush is perfect for well, contouring! I love that it has just enough angle to perfectly sculpt the face. I also use this when applying my blush.

The buffing brush is perfect for powder and mineral foundation application. I use this brush to set my foundation with a powder. I love that this brush is dense and wide and it is just the best for powder application! I guess this is my favorite next to the expert face brush!

The pointed foundation brush is for liquid foundation. I admit I don’t use this brush much often because I have the expert face brush for foundation application. What I love about this brush is its pointed end which allows for a more precise application of foundation.

Lastly, the detailer brush may be used to precisely apply concealer. It may even be used to apply lipstick! I use this to apply my concealer and it is great especially for concealing dark circles on your eyes!

Did I mention how much I love the Real Techniques brushes?! Haha. The quality of these brushes are amazing at there price range. You can really tell that it is a professional makeup artist who conceptualized and designed these brushes! I feel so lucky that I was able to buy them!

I hope this review has been really useful for everyone! If you are having second thoughts about trying these brushes, I tell you, go ahead and buy them! They are more than worth it! 🙂

P.S. I’m sorry that my watermarks on the pictures show MWG. It is the abbreviation of the previous title of my blog. I edited these pictures before changing the name of my blog to “Beauty Blogger Goddess”. Oopps! 😛

Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post!! My review is based on my honest opinion from using the products. 🙂
