Product Review: Sleek Makeup Blush by 3 in Lace

I’m feeling very Spanish today hence my greeting! Haha. Anyway, today I have detailed product review for you all! If you remember the Luxola Haul I blogged about weeks ago, I got a blush palette from Sleek Makeup. I got the Blush by 3 palette in Lace. Aside from this palette, I only own one other blush from Sleek and it’s a single blush called Flamingo. I think that the Blush by 3 palettes are great because there is not much price difference between this palette and their single blushes but you get 3 amazingly pigmented blushes instead of 1! Luxola sells the Blush by 3 palettes at Php 696.50 while the single blushes are worth Php 487.50. So, unless you really want a specific blush shade, I suggest that you get the palette!

Well, enough of the introduction and let’s go on to the detailed review. Just a heads up though, this is probably going to be a very long blog post! Haha.

The blushes come in a very sleek and compact packaging which is basically how Sleek Makeup products look like. I love that even though this is a palette, it is not bulky and it fits perfectly in my makeup bag!

The palette is also perfect for travelling because it is light and you are already carrying 3 blushes with you!

The thing that I don’t like about the packaging of this palette is it’s texture. You can easily get this packaging dirty and your fingerprints are always visible!

The palette has 3 gorgeous blush colors! I chose the palette called Lace because I liked the shades in this palette and I thought that these colors would complement my skin tone really well!

The blushes are highly pigmented which is typical of Sleek Makeup blushes and eyeshadows!

The blushes have individual names: (from left to right)

Crochet, Guipure, Chantilly

The first blush is called Crochet.

It is a light orange matte blush. I browsed my makeup collection and I realized that I don’t have a blush that resembles Crochet! ย At first I was shocked at how orange it is but once you blend it out, it gives a nice flush on the cheeks!

The second blush is called Guipure.

I don’t even know what Guipure means or how to pronounce it! Yikes! But this color is just gorgeous! It is a shimmery rose gold color and it is the only blush with shimmer in this palette! Well, it is not ย purely a rose gold color because it still has a hint of orange to it.

I just can’t get over this color as I find it so pretty! It may be too overwhelming when applied on the cheeks because it’s so shimmery but a little goes a long way with this! Using a blush brush, just dab a little bit of this blush on the cheeks and it will give you a nice glow!

What I do is I layer Guipure on top of either Crochet or Chantilly. Since those two shades are matte, adding just a hint of Guipure on them makes those blush shades stand out even more!

The last blush shade of the palette is called Chantilly.

It’s also a matte orange color but this one has more of a coral tone to it. Out of the 3 blush shades, I would say that this one is my favorite! This one layered with Guipure on top of it is just divine!

I love how it gives the face a natural glow since the color is not overpowering. I also think that this color complements my “morena” or tan complexion nicely!

Here are the swatches of the blushes.

As you can see, they are heavily pigmented. Like I said, a little goes a long way with these blushes! Don’t keep on applying them to your face unless you want to look silly!

What I love about these blushes:

1. They are highly pigmented

2. They have amazing staying power! It lasts on my face for about 5 hours or more! That’s incredible considering you only need to apply a little bit of it!

3. This palette is very affordable considering you get 3 amazing blushes of great quality! If you find this palette expensive, just think that you are getting blushes with amazing quality and it is not likely that you will easily run out of this palette because a little goes a long way with this blushes! I’m sure this palette will last long if you take care of it really well!

4. Packaging is light and compact and is very easy to carry around!

What I hate about these blushes:

Other than the fact that the packaging gets dirty easily, I don’t have any other critique for this palette!

As if I couldn’t stress it enough, I love this blush palette! I love Sleek Makeup in general and I don’t say that lightly. I’ve tried a lot of their products (i.e. eyeshadows and lipsticks) and I am always blown away by how amazing the quality of their products is!

I definitely recommend the Blush by 3 palette to everyone! I am even thinking of getting a few more of these to check out their other shades!
