Unboxing the Jan-Feb BDJ Box

Here’s another beauty subscription unboxing post! I received the Jan-Feb BDJ Box around the same time I got my Special Edition Snoe Glamourbox. Hence, the back-to-back unboxing posts!

The theme of the first BDJ Box for 2014 is Change it Up. The box has a selection of products which allows you to be more adventurous in your beauty routine and to start the year right!

Now, let’s get into the loot!

Here’s a quick look at the contents of the box.

What a better way to start the new year with a brand new hairstyle! This Garnier Color Naturals Nourishing Permanent Hair Colour (100 ml / Php 199 or $5)  is the perfect product to give your hair a new look!

Another way to start the new year right is  by having great skin. This Beauty and Bright Moringa Soap (130 g / Php 114 or $3) is packed with the beautifying extracts of Moringa, Papaya, Kojic Acid, Camellia Japonica, Candeia Tree Oil, Oxalis Triangularis Oil and Plant-based Lactic Acid to renew and lighten the skin in as little as 4 weeks!

The product that I am most excited about is the Avon Face Pearls (22 g / Php 599 or $14)! This product is a blush and a highlighter that comes in small different hued pearls that blend together to give the cheeks a radiant sheen. I am so excited to try this!

The other product that I am happy to find in this box is the Ellana Minerals Lip and Cheek Tint (20 ml / Php 220 or $5)! I haven’t tried anything from Ellana in a long time and I know that they revamped their line with a brand new packaging! I tried out this product as soon as I’ve opened my box and I can say that I’m really impressed with it!

I am also got a Revlon Nail Art kit in this box (7.68 ml / Php 375 or $9).

I also got a sample of the My Amazing Blow Dry Secret Shampoo and Conditioner.

And a bunch of skincare samples from Tony Moly. I got a sample of the Tomatox Magic White Massage Pack, Luminous Pure Aura CC Cream, Intense Care Live Snail Cream and the Oriental Gyeol Emulsion.

I also got a few vouchers: Free Brow Construction worth Php 598 or $14 from Browhaus, 3 gift vouchers worth Php 500 each from the Aesthetic Institute of the Philippines (AIP) and discount vouchers for a Brazilian Keratin Treatment ad Cynos Nano Digital Perming from Azta Salon.

To be honest, I am quite disappointed with this box. I was expecting more considering that this is the Jan-Feb box or their first box of the year. Aside from the Avon Face Pearls and the Ellana Mineral Lip and Cheek Tint, I really was not excited about the other products in the box.

What do you guys think of this box? Any product that you find exciting in it? Comment below coz I’d love to hear what you guys think!

I don’t think I have tried anything from Tony Moly except their toner! Haha gosh, i’m really missing out by not subscribing to this box (or any box for that matter)!

I haven’t tried anything from Tony Moly as well. I have always found their stores boring compared to Etude House or The Face Shop. Haha. Anyway, you should try and subscribe coz it’s a good way to try out products. But I’m not sure if subscriptions are still available. I know that they get sold out quickly. 🙂
