Unboxing the March BDJ Box!

Hello!

I got my March 2014 BDJ Box in the mail this week and like I posted on my facebook page, I will definitely be doing an unboxing post on this! I was really excited when BDJ Box posted a picture on their facebook page with the quote “Be Primed and Ready”! I immediately thought that the March BDJ box will be a Benefit box! Lo and behold, it is indeed an exclusive Benefit BDJ Box.

I love how the box is packaged this month!

The BDJ team put together this box in preparation of summer. Knowing how much the heat of summer can ruin one’s makeup, this exclusive box contains products that will help keep your makeup flawless and last throughout the day.

When I received my box, my reaction was that this box is probably the lightest box I’ve ever received from BDJ since I started subscribing last year! The fact that this box only contains sample sized items answers my query about the weight of the box.

Porefessional PRO Balm (22 ml / Php 1,600)

I got a 3 ml sample of the Porefessional PRO Balm. Don’t let the picture fool you because this sample is so tiny! The Porefessional has been talked about in the beauty industry since it first came out! It claims to quickly minimize the appearance of pores and fine lines.

Stay Don’t Stray (10 ml / Php 1,400)

Stay Don’t Stray is a dual-action primer which claims to make eyeshadow and concealer stay put. I must say that I love the name of this product!

Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Brightening Makeup (30 ml / Php 1,900)

This product is an oil-free brightening liquid foundation with light to medium coverage. The shade that I got is Toasted Beige which is actually a good match for my coloring. This foundation has SPF 25 PA +++.

Stay Flawless 15-hour Primer (15.5 g / Php 1,900)

This primer, as its name states, helps face makeup last long for up to 15 hours. I only got 2 packets of this tiny sample so I don’t know how many uses I can get out of it. But I will definitely try this out and test if it lives up to its “15-hour” claim.

Bathina Body Oil (75 ml / Php 1,800)

Well, isn’t this the cutest sample sized bottle you’ve ever seen? It’s so darn cute! The Bathina Body Oil is a super-fine body oil mist and includes almond, olive oil and avocado oil to leave skin feeling soft and moisturized and Vitamin E to keep the skin firm! Oh, and this smells amazing too!

Lastly, I got a bunch of these awesome stickers with the quote ” YOU DON’T NEED A MIRROR TO KNOW THAT YOU’RE GORGEOUS”. I am always looking forward to these stickers every month because they are so inspiring! My vanity is filled with these stickers!

Overall, this edition of the BDJ Box is good for me. I was kinda disappointed that the box only contained sample sized products. And I wouldn’t call them “deluxe” sample sizes as well.

On a more positive note, I am really excited to try out of all these products and write detailed reviews on them! I think it’s great to try out samples of products first before deciding to buy the full size especially if the product doesn’t come cheap. In the case of Benefit, it’s a high-end brand. Therefore, it would be such a waste of time and money if you buy one of their full sized item and end up not liking it.

Another thing that I like about this month’s box is that it includes a nice mix of some of Benefit’s most raved about products! I’m so excited to try the Porefessional and the Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Liquid Foundation!

Can’t wait for the next BDJ Box!

Xoxo!
