I don’t know about you but I love pampering myself. I love going to spas to get a massage or going to a nail salon to get my nails done. But those activities cost quite a lot and if you keep on doing them on a regular basis, you may need to spend a small fortune. Well, maybe not. But, you get what I mean.
I sometimes find it such a hassle to go to a spa or a nail salon because of Manila traffic. Before reaching the spa or nail salon, you’ve already lost interest in getting a massage or getting your nails done. To add to that, you already look haggard and irritated after being stuck in traffic for quite some time. Haha.
There are times when I’d rather have some ME time at home. It’s quick and more affordable! Here are some of my favorites products to use when I just want to stay at home and relax.
The Cream Factory Bath Cream in Goat’s Milk and Acai Berry
I love taking showers and lathering some soft and fragrant bath cream onto my skin! This bath cream from the cream factory is a favorite! It’s soft and creamy and it leaves the skin feeling smooth and fresh! You can read my review of this amazing product here.
The Cream Factory Scrub-in-a-Tub in Goat’s Milk and Witch Hazel
Another favorite product of mine is this awesome body scrub from The Cream Factory. I love this product more than any other body scrub I’ve tried! On days when I don’t have work or just feel like having a relaxing shower, I use this scrub (after lathering on the bath cream from the same brand)! It’s salt granules does not feel harsh on the skin and the scent of this product is t0 die for! Read my review on this product here.
Human Nature 100% Natural Sunflower Beauty Oil
After using a body scrub, I like applying this sunflower oil from Human Nature onto my skin. Sunflower oil is great for moisturizing the skin. It is also great for lightening dark undereye circles, dark spots and acne scars. I love that this product is 100% natural and does not contain any harmful chemicals!
Snoe Special Black Scrub Mask
I don’t get facials often. Instead, I like using an exfoliating facial scrub to remove deep-seated oil and dirt. This scrub from Snoe is great because it has tiny granules that really work into the skin to remove oil and dirt. Since using this, I’ve noticed that most of my blackheads and whiteheads have disappeared.
Nail polishes from Orly and Essie
Instead of having your nails done at a nail salon, why not do your nails yourself? I love doing my nails and because of that, I’ve amassed quite the nail polish collection! Haha. I’m very OC when it comes to my nails. I find it disappointing when I go to a nail salon and they don’t do my nails the way I like them to be. I know, I know. Like I said, I’m very OC when it comes to my nails! Haha. But, I really do prefer to do my nails on my own and I find it to be relaxing that way!
What are you favorite products for some ME time? Do you prefer getting your nails done professionally or going to spas to relax?
