Eye Want! – Happy Skin Eye Am Here To Stay 24 HR Gel Pencil Eyeliner

I have a love-hate relationship with pencil eyeliners. I have a bunch of them in my makeup collection but they probably are my most neglected makeup items.

I started wearing pencil eyeliners in college just because I thought it was cool. There were a lot of “emo” people with heavily lined eyes in my school back then and I really thought it was cool! I then entered into an “I hate pencil eyeliners” phase because I found it messy as it always did smudge on me!

Fast forward to the current year, I still have difficulty with majority of the pencil eyeliners in my collection. I find that most of them aren’t creamy enough for a nice application, while some of them aren’t as long-lasting as I prayed they would be.

It wasn’t until I discovered the Happy Skin Eye Am Here To Stay 24 HR Gel Pencil Eyeliner that I decided to give pencil eyeliners another go. When I saw this product at the mall, I was skeptical if it would live to its 24 hour claim. I love Happy Skin Cosmetics and I have been really impressed with the products that I have tried from this brand so far that I decided to try out their gel pencil eyeliner.

The packaging of this product is so convenient! It doesn’t need sharpening like a normal pencil eyeliner would. But, this product comes with an itty bitty sharpener tucked at the bottom of the pencil. This sharpener is used to make sure that the eyeliner has a bit of a soft pointed end for easier application.

The gel eyeliner itself is formulated with Argan Oil which enables the eyeliner to glide on smoothly onto the lashline. I can definitely attest to how smoothly this eyeliner applies! No need to tug your eyes or swipe this eyeliner multiple times on your lash line!

I love how easy it is to blend this product out! I once tried using it on my crease to create a subtle smokey eye and it blended out really well!

As I found out, this eyeliner really does stay on all day and is smudge-proof! I only apply this eyeliner in the morning when I do my makeup and I don’t find the need to retouch it throughout the day! Even though it doesn’t budge or smudge throughout the day, I still find it easy to take of with a makeup remover or a cleansing wipe.

This eyeliner is incredibly pigmented! The shade that I have is called Chic Brown. It seems to have a bit of a pearl finish to it which I love! It just gives my eyes more intensity and more depth!

I really, really love this eyeliner! The formula and the long-wearing quality of this product is just spot on! I believe I may have just found my holy grail eyeliner with this product! I just wish that Happy Skin will bring out more colors of this eyeliner. A deep blue or purple perhaps?

This eyeliner costs Php 499 and may be purchased in all Happy Skin counters found at Beauty Bar, Rustans or Plains and Prints branches.

Filipino made cosmetics are really stepping up their game these days! Glad to hear this eyeliner is longlasting. I really want to purchase the peppermint green one. 🙂

Yes! Filipino cosmetics brands are finally catching up with higher end brands in terms of quality. Happy Skin, in particular, is a favorite of mine because their products really deliver in terms of quality and overall appearance! You should go and get the green one! I’ve been eyeing it myself for quite some time. But, I’m still pretty happy with my brown one. 🙂

Exactly. Their Eye Love View eyebrow product seems interesting too. Reminds me of the K-Palette eyebrow pen. 🙂

I don’t have the black one. I decided to purchase the brown one because it’s more wearable for everyday. I don’t often wear black eyeliner. But, the black eyeliner swatched beautifully at the store. So maybe I might also get that just to create different looks. Hehe. 🙂
