Product Review: Nivea In-Shower Skin Conditioner

Hello!

One of the products that I received from my July BDJ Box is a new body product from Nivea called their In-Shower Skin Conditioner. I’m not quite sure how new this product is in the market but I’ve only learned about it through the July BDJ Box.

Β I love using lotions to moisturize my skin. However, I hate that sticky feeling that I get after I’ve applied lotion onto my skin. I live in a very hot country so I most often than not perspire right away as soon as I step out of the house. And sweat coupled with the lotion applied onto the skin make my skin feel sticky and uncomfortable.

The Nivea In-Shower Skin Conditioner claims to “replenish the skin’s moisture without that hot sticky feeling”. I only got a sample sachet of this product in the July BDJ Box but I instantly fell in love with it when I first used it! I purchased a full size bottle of this product and I have been enjoying using it! I purchased the one with Almond Oil for Dry Skin at Watsons, MOA for Php 159.

This product is meant to be used after soap or body wash. After lathering this product onto the skin, you need to rinse it off. The texture of this product is very much like a lotion and it really feels so soft and moisturizing on the skin! Even though this product needs to be rinsed off and you have to towel-dry your skin after stepping out of the shower, it definitely leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth without the sticky feeling!

I definitely recommend this product as a substitute for lotion especially if you hate that hot sticky feeling that some lotions leave on your skin!

Xoxo!

I’m happy you had such a great experience with this product! I tried a little sample first as well and then went ahead and bought the full size but unfortunately I didn’t like I at all.. I just felt kind of greasy and left my shower slippery :/ but I gave it to a friend who really likes it as well. Guess it’s one of those love/hate products πŸ™‚

My mom bought me a similar product from a different brand (Olay, I think), but I haven’t tried it yet. I’m waiting for the weather to get colder, when my skin will be drier. I hope I like it as much as you do!
