As much as most of us love makeup and skincare, we cannot deny the fact that body care products rock too! I love a good bath with some exfoliating action and lathering lotion onto my skin is something I consider heaven! With that said, I’d like to give you a short list of my body care must haves.
My favorite bath cream ever is the The Cream Factory Bath Cream! I’ve tried a lot of variants from this brand but the one that I’m using and loving at the moment is the one in Goat’s Milk and Honey. This bath cream is very moisturizing as it is made from goat’s milk. It also smells really good and it’s not just the one in Goat’s Milk and Honey. I’ve smelled pretty much all the available variants of this product and they all smell heavenly! I also love how this bath cream creates such a nice lather which leaves the skin feeling soft and clean!
My favorite body scrub for all over the body is The Cream Factory Scrub-in-a-Tub. I prefer the Salty version of this scrub because it contains rock salt crystals that work really well in exfoliating the skin. My favorite Salty variant is the one in Goat’s Milk and Witch Hazel which smells divine!
I also love the A Bonne Spa Milk Salt Scrub. Unlike The Cream Factory Scrub-in-a-Tub which I like to use all over my body, I like to use this salt scrub which has whitening properties on select areas of my body which are darker in color such as my elbows and knees.
I love body lotions so much that I have numerous bottles open at the same time. I think I have two open bottles at home, one in my hand bag and one in my table at work! Haha.
The lotion that I’ve been using a lot recently is the Jergens Daily Moisture Lotion for Dry Skin. I’ve been carrying this one in my handbag because my hands get dry a lot and I really hate it when my hands become too dry! Another lotion that I love is The Body Shop Body Butter in Strawberry because it’s very rich and creamy and very moisturizing!
For my entire body, I prefer using the Nivea In-Shower Skin Conditioner. This product is basically a lotion but is applied and then rinsed off right after you shower. I love this product because it moisturizes the skin but it does not give that sticky feeling that one can get when applying lotion after stepping out of the shower.
I’m not into heavy perfumes although I use them on occasion. On a daily basis, I prefer using a body mist that is housed in a simple bottle that you can just slip into your handbag. I’m not really picky with scents unlike some people who distinctly go for floral or fruity scents. I usually just go for what my nose tells me that smells good.
My current favorite body mist is The Body Shop Body Mist in Shea. This one smells very buttery and very pastry-like. I detect a hint of cocoa, coconut and cinnamon in there somewhere but the blend of this scent for me is just right! The only thing that I don’t like about this body mist is that it does not last long throughout the day.
