November Beauty Favorites + A Blog Name Change?

Hello!

There’s this thing called writer’s block which I’ve experienced this past few weeks. I think more than that, I was feeling a bit demotivated. Hence, the absence of blog posts for the past 3 weeks or so. I’m sure most, if not all, bloggers have gone through this phase. But, I’ve given myself a pep talk and so this blog is back to regular programming!

November has been a very boring month beauty-wise. I went for my usual beauty favorites which are products that have already been featured in previous beauty favorites blog posts. But there are a few new bits that I’ve tried this past month that are worth a shout out in this blog!

Zoeva 142 Concealer Buffer – This brush has been on my Luxola wishlist for so long but is always out of stock! So when I saw that they restocked this brush, I immediately added it to my cart and hit the checkout button! This brush is great for concealer application especially around the eye area. I use it to conceal blemishes around my face area as well. Because it is a buffing brush, it is quite dense which allows for heavy coverage concealing. The other great thing about this brush is that it works well with both liquid and creamy concealers.

Zoeva 122 Petit Stippling Brush – This brush has been my go-to brush for applying foundation or BB Cream! I initially intended to use this brush for cream blushes because it is very similar to the E.L.F. Small Stippling Brush. However, I really like using it with face bases because it’s great for when you want a sheer coverage and it works great too if you want to pack on that foundation a little bit more!

The Balm’s Cabana Boy – As far as blush favorites go, Cabana Boy is right up there in my top 3! I rotate blushes weekly but I always go back to this bad boy!

Bobbi Brown Creamy Matte Lip Color in Soft Nude – I’ve had this color for quite some time but I rarely whip it out because it’s so darn pricey! This color is such a gorgeous everyday nude and even though it has a matte finish, I don’t find it too drying on the lips! It lasts for ages on the lips too!

Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Brown – This product just came right on time because I received this when I ran out of my Happy Skin Eye Am Here To Stay Gel Pencil Eyeliner! If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now, you know how much I love my Happy Skin eyeliner which I need to repurchase soon! However, this Maybelline gel eyeliner works as good as the Happy Skin one because it is very pigmented and is smudge and budge-proof! Shout out to my cousin Krisha who gave this product to me as an early Christmas present!

Orly Nail Polish in Fowl Play – I’ve been hunting down this color for a long time ever since I had my nails done at a nail salon months ago! I just love nail colors like this – deep plum with glitters in it! It’s just gorgeous!

So, those are my November Beauty Favorites! Just a few products that I’ve been enjoying using in the past month and will continue to use for a long, long time!

You might be wondering why the title of this blog post includes “A Blog Name Change?”. Well, it’s because I’ve been meaning to change my blog’s name and I’ve come up with a few ideas. It’d be great it you could comment and let me know which name sounds great! Here are the names that I’ve been playing with – 1. The Beauty Gossip; 2. The Makeup Tales; 3. The Makeup Goddess

Xoxo!

Hey! Did you know that The Balm is a cruelty-free makeup brand? They don’t perform any cruel tests on animals so I’m glad you bought it 😀 I even wrote a post about cruelty-free makeup brands, feel free to check it out if interested..
    Loves..
