I think I may have just found the perfect daytime RED!

I LOVE a red lip but I don’t wear red lipsticks often. If I do wear a red lip, I will most likely wear it in the evening. I don’t know why – I was just never comfortable wearing a red lip in broad daylight. Also, I find it really hard to find the right shade of red that will look good with the tone of my skin. You have no idea how much I envy girls who could rock any shade of red lipstick!

But, as the title of this blog post suggests, I think I may have found the perfect daytime red! I have a few red lipsticks that I’d be comfortable wearing for an evening out, but I don’t have one that I’d be comfortable wearing during the day. This shade of red is called Rosewine and it’s from Revlon’s Super Lustrous Lipstick line.

I’m not really sure to how to describe this color but I’ll give it a go – it’s a reddish orange color that has a very warm undertone. The color is buildable so you can apply it lightly and it would look like a nude brown color on the lips. I, however, like applying it quite heavily because I find the color to be very beautiful. I bet this color would look great on all skin tones!

What’s your favorite daytime red lipstick? I’d love some recommendations!

Very pretty! If I’m wearing red in the daytime, it’s 99% of the time Revlon’s Lip Butter in Red Velvet. It’s a little darker than yours, but it’s not matte and has a slight sheerness to it so it’s wearable for the daytime for me.
