My Birthday Beauty Wishlist

Hello!

I’m turning a year older on the first day of March. I don’t really have any birthday celebration plans. I feel like as I get older, I prefer a simple celebration with loved ones – dinner or a movie or just hanging out in a cafe to catch up.

There is something that I do every year for my birthday and that is to shop for makeup! I always ask for  makeup on my birthday and even for Christmas. My friends and family know that gifting me with makeup is always a good thing! Haha.

So, this year I thought I’d put up a little wishlist in case any of my friends or family members are clueless as to what to get me! Haha.

My wishlist includes makeup bits that I’ve always wanted to try:

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation

Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer

Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation

Clinique Cheek Pop Blushes

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate

MAC Viva Glam Ariana Grande

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

Nuxe Reve De Miel Lip Balm

I’ll do a haul post of the stuff that I will end up getting or buying on my birthday. I’m excited to go makeup shopping for my birthday and to have a simple celebration with friends and family!

Happy birthday to everyone who will be celebrating their birthday this March! Us March babies are definitely cool!

Xoxo!

Wow! Now I’m pretty much convinced. I’ve been having a hard time deciding between the Nars Sheer Glow and the Double Wear. I have really oily skin so the Double Wear is probably the best bet.

Totally. It’s formulated to help control oil. The Nars Sheer Glow has a more luminous finish so what’s better for those who have dry skin or normal skin. Their All Day Luminous foundation, despite having the word luminous in the name, has a matte finish and is better for oily skin girls.
