March Beauty Superstars!

How was your March? Mine started out great actually since my birthday is on the first day of March. But, towards the end of the month, it became uneventful and somewhat stressful. Anyway, April just started which means that it’s officially summer here in the Philippines. I’m personally not a fan of summers because the heat is super unbearable in this country! I wish I was in Australia where it will be autumn soon!

I have quite an exciting round up of my March beauty favorites! Most of the products in my March favorites are new to my collection. I have been trying out these products these past few months and since they made it to my monthly faves, it’s safe to say that I love them!

Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop by Becca x Jaclyn Hill – I used to be scared of highlighters because I’ve always thought that highlighters and oily skin don’t mix well together. I admit I bought Champagne Pop because I love Jaclyn Hill so much and I wanted to support her product. But, and this is a very big BUT, I love this highlighter! When applied lightly, it can give a nice glow to the face without making me look like a grease ball! LOVE THIS!

Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer in SC-4 – I’ve had my eye on this product for so long and when I finally got it, I’ve realized why there’s so much hype about this product! This stuff is hardcore, I tell you! It can conceal anything! I have a lot of dark spots on my face due to long-gone zits and this concealer is perfect for spot-concealing them! The formula of this is super thick which I think helps in making this concealer a long-lasting one.

Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm – This product was part of my birthday wishlist but I got it after I did a haul post about the stuff that I got for my birthday. This lip balm is so moisturizing yet is not shiny or tacky at all. It gets rid of any dry skin or flakiness on the lips. I apply it at night before I go to bed and in the morning as well to prep my lips for lipstick.

Colourpop Super Shock Cheek in Poolside – I have been really impressed with the brand Colourpop! Their products are super affordable and the quality is amazing! My current fave from the brand is this bronzer which has a tiny bit of shimmer in it. The color is just right for my skin tone – it’s not too dark or orange-y. It gives the right amount of glow when applied lightly on the areas of the face where the sunlight would naturally hit. This product can also be used as an eyeshadow – either as a one wash of color all over the lid or on the crease!

Innisfree No-Sebum Blur Primer – I have been using this product all throughout the month of March as my primer and it works really well underneath any foundation! I did a review of this product a few weeks back which you can read here to know more about why I love it!

Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack – My face mask addiction continued all throughout the month of March with this capsule recipe pack from the Korean brand Innisfree. This face mask is great to put on when you feel like your skin needs a quick pick me up! I love the recipe pack in Jeju Volcano because it’s great for de-clogging the pores.

Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in Lumiere 2 – I have another fave from Colourpop from the past month and it’s this nice everyday color called Lumiere 2. I believe it’s a color created by Kathleenlights in collaboration with the brand. It’s such an amazing lip product and I am in love with the Ultra Matte Lip formula because they are crazy pigmented and they stay on all day!

Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara – This mascara is my holy grail mascara! It makes my lashes look so long and full that it would seem that I’ve applied falsies on! I love how the brush is thin enough to be able to coat every single eyelash – top and bottom! Definitely a top notch product from the drugstore!

Those are all my favorites for the past month! I’m excited for April because I did quite a lot of makeup shopping recently so there will be a lot of product reviews coming your way! Hope you have an amazing April wherever you are in this world!
