A Sephora Haul + First Impressions!

Hello!

This past month, I made two purchases from Sephora Philippines. To be honest, I can’t even justify these purchases. I just love makeup okay?! Haha. I purchased items that I’ve never tried before – some were products that I’ve heard good things about while the rest are just items that looked interesting!

On my first purchase, I only wanted to get the Becca Ever-Matte Shine Proof Foundation. I remember just watching Teni Panosian‘s video on her top 5 high-end foundations and she mentioned this one from Becca. She said that this is a great foundation for oily skin and when she said that, I was instantly sold on getting this foundation! I have been using this foundation alternately with my Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation. I do love this Becca foundation but I’ll tell you more about it in an upcoming review post.

On the day that I browsed the Sephora site for the Becca foundation, I saw that Zoeva Cosmetics had a few just arrived products. I saw that they brought in new blush palettes and I knew that I needed to have them in my life! This is a purchase that I’m definitely happy about because these blush are super pigmented and very blendable! They’re really long-lasting too! The palette that I got is in Coral Spectrum.

The last item that I got from my first purchase is a powder blush from the brand Luscious Cosmetics. It’s in a coral shade called Spring Blossom. This is actually a freebie which is awesome because it looks like it’s a full-sized product!

On my second purchase, I got the Zoeva Cosmetics Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette. I have been waitlisted for this product for so long! So when I saw that this product has been restocked, I immediately added it to my cart! This palette has received such great reviews and I can now see why that is the case. The eyeshadows in this palette are so pigmented and buttery smooth and the colors are just a warm-toned eyeshadow lover’s dream!

I also got the Benefit Hide And Sheen which has the Boi-Ing Concealer and the Watt’s Up Highlighter in it. I got this because I saw PatrickStarrr use it in one of his videos and I remember him saying how good this product is! I’ve been using the Boi-Ing Concealer under my eye and I find it to be such a heavy duty concealer without being cakey. I haven’t used the Watts Up highlighter so I will have to report back on that.

I’ve heard good things about Sephora brushes so when I saw this Contouring Brush Set, I thought that it would be more cost effective to get this set than one brush. This set costs approximately the same as one Sephora face brush so I think that this kit is a good deal! The brushes in this kit are shorter than a normal buffing brush but the bristles are just as dense. I’ve only used the buffing brush from this kit and I really like it! I’ve tried using it to blend out foundation and concealer and I love the finish that it gives. I still have to try using these brushes for contouring and report back on that.

I got another freebie from this second purchase and it’s the Sleek MakeUp Candy Tint Balm in Tutti Fruity. I’m really impressed with the freebies that Sephora give away!

I hope you enjoyed that haul! Reviews for the products that I got will be coming up soon!

Xoxo!
