May Beauty Superstars

Hello!

May has come to an end and I can’t believe that we’re almost halfway through the year! Time flies so fast, no? I’ve been so busy that I didn’t even feel June come around! I hope you guys had a wonderful May and a great start to your June!

As we ring in a new month, it’s time to talk about my beauty favorites of the previous month. These are products that I’ve loved and used a lot during the past month. You know the drill by now so let’s get on to it!

I’ve been a bit of a skincare buff lately as I have been testing out products to solve my skin dilemmas – big pores and oiliness. The It’s Skin Power 10 Formula PO Effector is a serum that targets to minimize pores. I’ve been using it daily before I go through my makeup routine and it does blur out my pores. I’ve also been using the Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask 2-3 times a week to de-clog my pores. It’s a great mask that effectively clears out my pores without drying out my skin. Over the time I’ve been using these two skincare products, I’ve noticed that my pores look smaller and my face don’t get as oily as it used too!

I’ve mentioned the L.A. Girl Pro Conceal High Definition Concealer during drugstore week as one of my holy grail products from the drugstore. It’s such a good concealer that I always repurchase it! It has such a good coverage and it’s very smooth and blendable! I’ve also been so crazy about the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara. It’s one of my top 5 mascaras from the drugstore! This mascara gives my lashes length and volume that lasts all day long!

The two lip products that I’ve been using a lot this past month are the Pink Sugar Creamy Matte Lipstick in XOXO and the Cathy Doll Lip Blur in Rose Apple. These two colors are very different – one is a nice brownish nude while the other is a bright berry pink. One common thing about these two lippies is the formula – they’re very creamy, they dry matte and are very long-lasting!

What were your favorites for the month of May?

Xoxo!
